Here you can observe the contamination monster A.K.A the human being you can see trash in one of his hands that he is about to throw in the street and you can also see how he is contaminating our air by smoking a cigarette. With this protect I try to show how all of us are becoming monsters by caring about our environment and it's up to us to change that horrible future we are creating.

Bottles.
The reason why I did my art project with empty plastic water bottles in the shape of a happy face is because these bottles were on the floor scattered around now I am going to recycle them and put them into art so they are happy that they are going to be reused and recycled.

Drainage

My project is a representation of a drainage pipe, made out of a Styrofoam cup. It is modeled after a pipe that I saw at the beach that had a pool of trash and waste beneath it. There was lots of plastic pieces and cigarette butts around the beach, which is a danger to the birds who try to eat them. The piece of tar must have washed up onto the beach at some point, as it was furthest out to the water. The caution sign on top of the drain is similar to those seen by street drains, as those are the ones where a huge amount of pollution goes down. This project is meant to show how much trash goes directly from our city streets to the oceans, and how damaging it is.

Trash House

This is a house made out of trash. It represents how we mindlessly throw our trash and don’t worry where it ends up. On average the trash ends up in the ocean where it pollutes the home of many marine creatures. This represents how we fill the home of many animals with trash and don’t worry about the effect it has on them.

Jelly of Death
My project is of a jelly fish holding a cigarette butt resting in a Styrofoam cup. The jelly fish is made up of a bottle cap and a popped balloon that I found while cleaning up the beach, and it demonstrates how easily these items can be mistaken as food to other animals and gobbled up. The cigarette that the jelly fish is holding represents the fact that not only is a cigarette harmful to us humans, but to the environment as well; because once a cigarette burns out, the smoker tosses it on the floor and it could end up in the digestive system of an innocent animal. The action of the jelly fish resting in the cup without a care is a portrayal of how a majority of society are ignorant of the harmful actions we humans cause to other species and Mother Nature herself.

Time is of the Essence
As I walked around my neighborhood there wasn't much but paper and materials such as plastic and cardboard. My neighborhood is generally really clean so with the limited materials I was able to obtain, I created a clock. I designed a clock out of different objects in order to represent that time is ticking. As time passes by, and more and more trash accumulates, before we know it, all the damage that is done can not be reversed. If we start now, we can slowly create a better environment for both the people and the ecosystem as a whole.

The Cleaner Car

My art piece is a race car  The race car is a representation of a car that is racing to have beaches free of trash. The race car body is from a plastic bottle I found at the shore line. The body of the car shows how objects can potentially be made up from recycled material. The wheels are from bottle caps I found in the sand. The cars axle is made from wood found near the fire pits. The spoiler is made from newspaper lying around. The trash found at the beach is racing towards cleaner beaches and as the race continues it picks up trash along the way and stores it inside the bottle. The people need to form as a team to clean up beaches so that wildlife can be protected from the garbage people leave behind.
