A Walk In The Park
The project that I made was based on a walk I took to the park. Well I used a cardboard can to represent a play set in the park with a slide with an opening so kids can get in and play. I also used some old fallen leaves to represent the grass, and I uses cotton balls to represent the park’s trail so people could walk around the park. As I was walking to the park I thought about the idea of making my project like the things that I saw there it was really dirty and that there was a lot of trash that was not in the trash can but outside and around it on the floor. On the bases of what I saw was how I got the idea to make a park with items I found on the ground and things I had at home.Thursday, January 30, 2014
Plastic Earth
Plastic Earth
The art project I created is a
representation of our planet Earth. I used a clear plastic bag with a blue construction paper background because it
represented the ocean. I used a white plastic bag in a special shape because it represented the
U.S. The message of my project is to say that plastic is everywhere. Almost everything we use is
plastic. Our planet is polluted with plastics. Since plastic is not biodegradable, plastic will
never break down. This is causing problems in the ocean because animals such as turtles,
seagulls, and fish are eating the plastic thinking that it is food. We should talk action into
recycling the plastic and cleaning up after ourselves. Another way we can help is by throwing away the
plastics into trash can and not letting it flow into the ocean. The choices we make today
will shape our world tomorrow.
